If you look closely, each of us designs decisions before making them. But how? When asked, we often have to retrace our thinking just to understand how we design them. When you start designing decisions with Two-5-Two you begin to understand it better and explore the opportunities that open up with AI.
Write the decision down in a single sentence. Then notice: have you already collapsed it into a yes or no? If so, rewrite it as an open question instead. "Should I change jobs?" → "What is this decision actually about?"
Underneath that one decision, how many decisions are actually there? Write each one down as its own line. Look for: timing, finances, energy, meaning, responsibility. Don't try to resolve any of them — just name them.
Which layer has been carrying the most tension? Which one have you been avoiding? Mark them. This isn't about answering — it's about seeing.
Pick the single layer that feels most honest to explore right now. Write two or three sentences about what you actually know, what you don't know, and what would need to be true for that layer to feel clearer.
